Britney Spears apparently has some serious star power behind her legal guardianship battle.
On Tuesday, July 6, The Mirror announced that many celebrities, including Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus, Paris Hilton, Katy Perry and Christina Aguilera, will be launching a legal fund for her. Even her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake is said to be getting on board. The report follows news that Spears’ attorney Samuel Ingham has asked to step down as a lawyer.
“Britney has a lot of famous friends and they are desperate to help,” a source told the outlet. “They all offer to help and they’re in touch, they offer all the advice they can. They’ve also offered to set up a legal fund for her.”

Hilton spoke to Spears on her This Is Paris podcast. She said the situation “broke my heart”.
“Dealing with this as a teenager was tough, but I still can’t imagine, as an adult, having worked your whole life,” said Hilton. “She’s built a huge empire. She’s a legend, she’s an icon, she’s a mother. She’s amazing and she has these people controlling her money, her life.”
