Angry GOP Expert Ben Shapiro Thinks He ‘Owned The Libs’ With His Sacked Wood, Laughs Instead

Ben Shapiro, a right-wing expert and former Breitbart editor-in-chief, hates the idea that people in Georgia are fighting for the right to vote, and he has offered an arguably less than thunderous way of showing it.

On Tuesday, a large coalition of black religious leaders in the state, representing more than 1,000 churches, called for a boycott of Home Depot, saying the Georgia-based company had failed to be a good corporate citizen by failing to not opposing the new state voting law.

“We don’t think it’s just a political issue,” said Bishop Jackson, who led the appeal, in an interview. “This is a question which concerns the guarantee of the future of this democracy, and the greatest right in this democracy is the right to vote.”

Home Depot, Jackson said, “has shown indifference, a lack of response to the call, not only from the clergy, but also a call from other groups to speak out. against this legislation. “

Home Depot is one of the state’s largest employers. Other Georgia-based companies like Coca-Cola and Delta have strongly opposed the new state law, while Home Depot has chosen to largely avoid the topic.

Although it has been reported that one of the company’s founders, Arthur Blank, has privately told other business executives that he supports the right to vote, another founder, Ken Langone, remains a staunch supporter of former President Donald Trump.

But back to Shapiro, who single-handedly saved Home Depot from a possible boycott by buying… a single piece of wood… which he then had the cashier put in a plastic bag.

He uploaded a video of the experience to his Instagram Story, and the response was basically a big one LOL.

Here’s what people are saying:

“How is that not a satire?” asked a commenter.

“The context doesn’t help,” added another, who shared the start of Shapiro’s journey through the store:

And then came the jokes:

A wood please. Take it for me. Thank you

Let this be a warning to all companies planning to “wake up” – if you do? Ben Shapiro will not go to your store and buy a wood. So choose carefully
