BIOGRAPHY OF ANSEL ELGORT
A graduate of LaGuardia’s High School of the Performing Arts, Elgort starred opposite Alexis Bledel in Matt Charman’s play Regrets, directed by Carolyn Cantor for the Manhattan Theater Club, as he was finishing his senior year of high school. His performance received rave reviews and after the show closed Elgort was cast for the role of Tommy Ross in The gaze of satan – Carrie by Kimberly Peirce, alongside Julianne Moore.
