BD WONG BIOGRAPHY
Bradley Darryl Wong, better known as BD Wong, is born in San Francisco on October 24, 1960, where he attended Lincoln High School, an institution where he discovered his passion for acting, thanks above all to the various school plays in which he participated. It was the theater that put him in the spotlight when he made his Broadway debut in M. Butterfly (1988) next to John Lithgow; a play that earned him a Tony Award, a Drama Desk Award, an Outer Critics Circle, a Theater World Award and a Clarence Derwent. The single-role victory of so many awards paved Wong’s path to a film career. Although the Chinese-born actor had already taken part in several TV series in small roles, following the theatrical success he is offered more relevant parts, such as that of the protagonist’s brother in the sitcom.
