Bradley Darryl Wong, better known as BD Wong, is born in San Francisco on October 24, 1960, where he attended Lincoln High School, an institution where he discovered his passion for acting, thanks above all to the various school plays in which he participated. It was the theater that put him in the spotlight when he made his Broadway debut in M. Butterfly (1988) next to John Lithgow; a play that earned him a Tony Award, a Drama Desk Award, an Outer Critics Circle, a Theater World Award and a Clarence Derwent.
