Jason Beghe had to agree to some pretty interesting requirements in order to have custody of his two sons for part of the summer, including a smoking ban and a promise to maintain a vegetable garden.

As The Blast first reported, the “Chicago P.D.” star filed for divorce in December 2017 from his wife of 16 years, Angeline. The couple has two children together: 16-year-old Bix and 12-year-old Bo.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the couple has reached a temporary agreement on custody for the summer, with Jason getting to stay in the couple’s Malibu home with the boys from May 1 through June 8.

But the agreement is very specific about what Jason can and cannot do while in the home. For example, the only overnight guest he’s allowed to have while staying in the home is his nephew.

“No other third parties will be allowed to stay overnight at the Residence,” the document states.

Jason is not allowed in the master bedroom of the home, “which will be locked,” and he must “maintain and care for the vegetable garden.”

As for the smoking, the agreement states, “There will be no cigarettes smoked in the home and/or left inside or outside on the property of the Residence.”

The agreement —which was signed by both Jason and Angeline, and their attorneys, Samantha Spector and Scott Weston, respectively — also calls for Angeline to “disable from use any and all cameras” on the property so that Jason “has his privacy” while he stays at the home.

Once the month is over, the temporary agreement calls for Jason Beghe to move out of the home into a nearby rental and the couple will alternate weeks with the children until July 7.
