She has an elder brother as well. Her father has ancestry roots of Poland while her mother is half French Canadian and half Polish.
She took the ballet lessons from an early age of four since she grew up in a theatrical environment as a result of her parents’ activities.

In addition to that, in 1999, Golden Globe Award-nominated Jane for Best Supporting Actress for portraying the role of Office Assistant Elaine Vassal on soap opera Anny McBeal.
She also earned Primetime Emmy Award for Oustanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for four times for being cast as Jenna Maroney in the NBC sitcom 30 Rock. She received her fifth Primetime Emmy Award nomination in 2015 for Netflix original comedy series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

Krakowski had her film debut in National Lampoon’s Vacation released in 1983. Soon enough, she appeared in numerous films like Alfie, The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas, Fatal Attraction, Go, Dance with Me, Marci X, Mom at Sixteen, Stepping Out, Kit Kittredge: An American Girl, Pretty Persuasion, and Cirque du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant.
