Best-selling author-turned-GOP clown JD Vance has once again shown his willingness to say or do just about anything to please Ohio Republican primary voters in his race for be their candidate in the 2022 midterm elections.
The 37-year-old fanatic, whose campaign in the US Senate is largely funded by gay billionaire Peter Thiel, just posted a deeply racist and inaccurate video on his Twitter page filled with so many vile and offensive comments about Afghan refugees that we are I’m not even going to repeat them, but you can watch it, if you want. (Intended for an informed public!)

The Hillbilly Elegy author’s video was clearly designed to set people on fire. Unfortunately for him, most viewers saw through his racist dog whistles and feigned outrage and couldn’t help but focus on his erect nipples protruding from his undersized t-shirt. Ohio State University. That and her terrible eyeliner.

As a general rule, when posting any kind of video on social media, it’s usually best to check the camera angle and lighting to make sure it’s flattering. Otherwise you end up looking like JD and no one takes you seriously.
Not that anyone had taken him seriously before that. Despite making national headlines with his Donald Trump-inspired publicity stunts, Politico reports that Vance is not breaking through with Republican primary voters in Ohio.
In March, more than 70% of voters polled said they had no opinion of him because they had no idea who he was. In June, just 6% said they supported him, placing him far behind his opponents.
In addition to promoting xenophobia, Vance says he wants to “protect conservative values” by banning critical race theory in schools, opposing mask mandates, penalizing companies that support Black Lives Matter and by rewarding “traditional families”.
While he didn’t say it upfront, Vance also appears to support Trump’s trans military ban and possibly DADT. Its campaign website states, “US political leaders should stop using the US military as a side project for social justice. Our troops don’t need to focus on diversity or fairness or any other progressive buzzword; they must focus on fighting and winning the American wars.
