Jeffree Star updated his fans 24 hours after his serious car crash.
On Saturday April 17, the beauty mogul shared videos with his fans on his social media accounts following his car accident on Friday April 16 which injured him and his passenger, Daniel Lucas.
In the first set of Instagram stories, Star confirmed he was driving in Wyoming when he hit a patch of black ice that knocked the car over three times in a snowbank. He confirmed that he was not speeding at the time of the accident. Star is discharged from the hospital but must wear a back brace.
“My back is really broken and my vertebrae, three are not tied up at the moment and I’m in the most excruciating pain ever,” Star said in an Instagram story. He later said, “My doctor said it would take a few months but I should make a full recovery.”
Meanwhile, Lucas is still hospitalized and may need surgery after suffering internal bleeding from the accident due to his three previous battles with colon cancer.
“We almost lost our lives and it was one of the scariest experiences I think I have ever had,” Star added.
Star was fortunate enough to see the $ 300,000 Rolls Royce after the crash. He shared photos of the damaged car on social media and praised the manufacturer for the reinforced steel which “saved our lives.”
Following Instagram Story updates, Star posted a new YouTube video the pair were working on before the crash. The video details Lucas’ battle with colon cancer. Friends thought now was the perfect time to download it after their traumatic experience.
