BIOGRAPHY OF KATE MCKINNON

Kathryn McKinnon Berthold, better known as Kate McKinnon is born Oyster Bay (NY) il January 6, 1984, but she grew up mostly on Long Island, in the town of Sea Cliff. During his childhood he approaches music and learns to play different instruments from the piano to the cello, up to the guitar in adolescence. His passion for theater came after high school, when he enrolled in the theater course at Columbia University, where he graduated in 2006. The following year he joined the cast of the TV show The Big Gay Sketch Show, in which he will play for all three seasons. The comic turn of the beginning of his career seems to be right for him and so in 2008 he began staging some skits with playful content in the theaters of New York City.

The debut as an actress arrives on the small screen with the participation in some TV series, such as Vag Magazine (2010) or The Venture Bros. (2010) and on the small screen receives a lasting engagement that increases its popularity with the entry into the main cast of Saturday Night Live (2012).
