Kyle Massey is in serious trouble … again. The former Disney Channel star has been charged with a felony for allegedly sending sexually explicit content to a minor.
According to a report by Page Six, the charges stem from when the That’s So Raven actor allegedly sent pornographic images to an unnamed 13-year-old girl between December 2018 and January 2019.
And this isn’t the first time the case has come to court: The girl’s family sued Massey for the first time in a $ 1.5 million civil lawsuit in 2019. However, this case encountered roadblocks and blockades, in part because of the actor’s protest. not the amount of money needed to pay a judgment.
That same civil lawsuit alleged Massey, now 29, had known the anonymous complainant since she was four and had apparently kept in touch with family as the girl pursued her own career as a child actor.
Prior to the explicit posts, Massey and the girl reportedly discussed the possibility of her being part of a Cory in the House reboot project following the success of That’s So Raven’s follow-up, Raven’s Home. (However, no reboot of the 2007 White House-centric spinoff appeared to materialize.)
Eventually, Massey reportedly asked to add the girl on Snapchat, where the sexually inappropriate posts took place.
The former star was due to appear for his first arraignment on Monday, June 28, but he did not appear in court.
