BIOGRAPHY OF MARC FORSTER
Film director. Born in 1969, he grew up in Switzerland. In 1990 he moved to the United States to study directing at New York University. After directing a couple of documentaries, in 1995 he made his feature film directorial debut with “Loungers”, followed by “Everything Put Together” (2000), winner of the ‘Someone to Watch Award’ at the Independent Spirit Award and “Monster’s Ball” (2002) in competition at the Berlin Film Festival and nominated for an Oscar for best leading actress (Halle Berry, former winner of the Silver Bear) and for best original screenplay.
