Caitlyn Jenner quickly learns that she cannot count on the support of all Republicans in her attempt to confront Gov. Gavin Newsom in California. After a weekend where she was heckled at CPAC in Dallas, Jenner engaged in a Twitter feud with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green (R-GA) yesterday.
Greene, who is known for her anti-LGBTQ stance and rejection of trans people, laments the idea of Jenner running for governor as a GOP candidate.
“The GOP support and consultants working to elect Jenner as governor in California are playing the dumb game of leftist identity politics. A game that sells our faith, our family and our freedoms, ”Greene tweeted yesterday.
“Stop promoting this man in a robe & NEVER Trumper. The CA Patriots have worked too hard and deserve better.

Who could be Greene’s best candidate? She does not say so, although it may not be a coincidence that conservative radio host Larry Elder announced yesterday that he is also running in the California recall election against Newsom.

In response to Greene’s tweet, Jenner shared it and expressed her feelings about Greene.
“A tough speech from someone who backed away from the waking crowd and settled out of court with a troll on Twitter,” said the former Olympian and reality TV star. “Now your money is being used to take guns away from law-abiding Americans. “

The settlement Jenner refers to was between Greene and a Los Angeles-based political action committee, MeidasTouch LLC. This led Greene to agree not to ban criticism from his public Twitter account during his tenure, which flies in the face of the First Amendment. Greene also had to donate $ 10,000 to cover legal fees, which PAC said it would donate to nonprofits pushing for better gun control.
Greene’s original tweet drew many responses.
Incredible how they devour each other in the blink of an eye. The amazing part is that she doesn’t even hide her hatred for trans people.

Don’t you like it when they start to attack each other?
There is no hatred like Christian love.

One of those to comment on was Democrat Holly McCormack, who is running against Greene for her seat in Georgia next year.
Transphobia is never okay, especially from a congressman. After taking up your post next year, I will use my platform to preach love and acceptance rather than hate and division.

Greene’s Twitter attack on Jenner precedes the Georgia representative’s organization of an America First rally in Orange County this Saturday, July 17. California’s recall election is set for September 14.
