BIOGRAPHY OF MATILDE GIOLI
Matilde Lojacono was born in Milan on 2 September 1989 but spent most of his childhood in the mountain town of Madesimo. After graduating from the classical high school Cesare Beccaria, she attends the State University of Milan from which she comes out with a degree in philosophy and certainly not the idea of dedicating her life to acting. Destiny, however, has precisely this road in mind for her, so much so that, thanks to a ticket found on a traffic light by her mother, the girl learns that Paolo Virzì look for extras for Human capital, who instead gives her the part of Serena Ossola, the daughter of the character played by Fabrizio Bentivoglio. Its performance convinces practically everyone and the Gioli wins the Guglielmo Biraghi Prize during the Nastri d’Argento 2014, the Prize Alida Valli of the Bari International Film Festival and the nomination for the Ciak d’Oro as Best Supporting Actress.
In the same year Matilde made her television debut appearing in an episode of Gomorrah – The series, while in 2015 we find it in three films: Only for the weekend, Dad’s beautiful is A safe place. The first is a debut work where he joins Alessandro Roja is Stefano Fresi in the chronicle of 48 crazy hours, while in the second – directed by Guido Chiesa – find a great set mate and pretend dad Diego Abatantuono. As for the third, it is the story of a father-son relationship that offers the actress the opportunity to share the set with Marco D’Amore.
Shortly thereafter, Matilde Gioli back to work for TV thanks to Riccardo Milani, who wants her in the miniseries From father to daughter. The director will direct it in 2017 also in Mom or Dad?, comedy with Antonio Albanese is Paola Cortellesi in which ours will cut out the part of a young gynecologist. Returning to 2016, it is worth remembering a small film in which Malilde well personifies an uninhibited but fragile girl: 2Night, of Ivan Silvestrini.
