Rep. Matt Gaetz is at the center of a sex scandal involving a 17-year-old girl that seems to get worse with every comment, tweet and media appearance he makes. And now The Daily Beast has just released a damning report on the besieged Anti-Gay MP that is filled with even more explosive allegations.

Matt Fuller and Sam Brodey Report:
Gaetz – the 38-year-old Florida Republican, loving Trump and smiling at Fox News, has a less than solid reputation among his fellow congressmen. More than half a dozen lawmakers spoke to these reporters about her love of alcohol and illicit drugs, as well as her propensity for younger women. It is well known among Republican lawmakers that Gaetz was dating a college student – a student over the age of consent – in 2018. She came to Washington as an intern.
The report also claims that Gaetz has hardly any friends, that he regularly pays for flights and hotels for women to come visit him, that he enjoys being on TV more than being a member of Congress, and that at least one unnamed GOP lawmaker has an “unofficial rule.” “To never appear by his side on television for fear of” the inevitable scandal that will one day come out. “
Oh, and then there’s this squeaky little nugget:
Gaetz’s cartoonish and scandalous perception is so common that it is sometimes visible, literally, in the halls of Congress. A source from Hill sent the Daily Beast a photo of a trash can outside Gaetz’s office as lawmakers emptied their desks at the end of a recent session. At the top of the pile was an empty Costco-sized box of Trojan “Bareskin” condoms.

Since the scandal broke, Gaetz has been struggling. He launched a series of frantic tweets claiming he was the victim of a $ 25 million extortion plot, told media that “the last time I had sex with a 17 year old teenager I was 17 ”and made a messy appearance. on Fox News, where he tried to get Tucker Carlson involved in it all.
Former US lawyer Joyce Vance appeared on MSNBC’s “The ReidOut” last night to say that Gaetz really, really, really needs to stop talking and find a lawyer, like, immediately.
“The one thing that’s clear, the one thing to remember, is that the congressman needs a lawyer,” Vance said, adding that his behavior only made him appear more guilty, not less.
“He needs someone to give him legal advice because he’s about to incriminate himself, concede some of the elements of potential crimes and just mouth in a way that no one that is the subject of a federal investigation should not. “
Former Justice Department spokesman Matthew Miller added that Gaetz’s public comments made him sound like “a panicking person in the spotlight – and I don’t think that speaks very well of how he could handle this investigation as it progresses. “
