Meghan McCain’s highly anticipated last day on The View / last day on Twitter is this Friday. But we haven’t seen the last of her yet.
John McCain’s daughter has just signed on to produce a new lifetime original film tentatively titled Don’t Sweat The Small Stuff: The Kristine Carlson Story, based on the successful 1997 self-help book by the late motivational speaker Dr Richard Carlson .
Deadline reports:
The film tells the moving and inspiring true story of Kristine Carlson, co-author of the best-selling book series Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff with her husband, Dr.Richard Carlson, who sees her world crumble around she after Richard unexpectedly. die. Faced with overwhelming grief, Kristine finds her voice and the strength to navigate and rebuild her family in the midst of deep loss.
It sounds fascinating.
The biopic will star ’90s soap opera actress Heather Locklear and mark her first return to the small screen since completing 30-day court-ordered rehab treatment in 2019 after being arrested for domestic violence, resistance and obstruction to a policeman or EMT; and several battery counts against a policeman and emergency personnel.
McCain revealed on Twitter this week that she was “more than thrilled” to produce the “legendary” project featuring an “icon” like Locklear, who appears to have seen her Twitter account suspended for some reason.
Don’t sweat the little tricks: Kristine Carlson’s story is slated to air later this year.
