If there’s one thing you can’t do when you’re a far-right blogger / Fox News expert, it’s tweet about adult movie stars and get away with it.
Meghan McCain’s husband Ben Domenech learned it the hard way when he took to Twitter to defend self-proclaimed “conservative porn star” / OnlyFans model Brandi Love after she was recently kicked out of the hospital. ‘a TurningPoint USA event.
The conservative student group hosted a conference at the Tampa Convention Center over the weekend. When Love showed up, she was promptly asked to leave, despite having purchased a VIP ticket to the event.
When Domenech, co-founder and editor of the fiercely anti-LGBTQ publication The Federalist, learned that his favorite pornstar, another Republican, had been kicked from the event, he tweeted angrily, accusing TurningPoint USA of being “prudish.”
“I’m disappointed that @TPUSA kicked @brandi_love for no reason,” he tweeted. “She’s a conservative businesswoman from Florida who loves America. The right has the opportunity to be the big party in tents. Don’t be a bunch of prudes.

In a statement, the TPUSA said it was troubled by the “extremely pornographic nature” of Love’s social media pages and that “the management of the event immediately took appropriate action in the best interests of the minors present at the event “.
“Ultimately, it is simply not appropriate for a porn star to actively post footage at an event with 15 and 16 year olds present in conjunction with graphic pornography,” said the group.
As for Love, she accused the group of being “nuts” and of having co-opted the term “conservative”.
“So we withdrew… from Tampa,” she tweeted. “And I was quickly reminded that the real conservatives are nothing like what I experienced from this crowd of TPUSA. A group of Starbucks veterans just showed up and expressed their support. We will not let this mad faction co-opt the term conservative. “

Now back to Ben.
What he hoped to gain by defending Love is unclear given that the vast majority of his 150,000 supporters are from a political party that has declared pornography a “public health crisis” on its official platform. of 2016 party.
“The internet must not become a haven for predators,” said the amendment, which was passed without much debate. “Pornography, with its harmful effects, especially on children, has become a public health crisis that destroys the lives of millions of people. “
Here’s how they reacted to his tweet …
There is nothing conservative about pornography.

yeah that’s a no-follow. This isn’t the hill to die on, man. “Big tent” involves supporting each other’s causes. “Conservatism” should not promote pornographers. Any common cause with pornographers as leaders is not worth promoting.

The charcoal hawkers really should not receive praise. The lady needs to repent and be changed, so that she can walk straight, and not praised for her ways.

I can’t believe a grown man sells pornstars to high school kids as “conservative” stocks.

Pornographers are contributing to the degeneration of society and it is fair and appropriate to shun them.

I will continue to be prudish, thank you.

If we can’t say pornography is bad, what can we say?

Then there were those who saw Ben’s feigned indignation …
Oh, Ben.

McCain hasn’t commented on her husband’s ill-begotten tweet, so we don’t know what she thinks about it, but we now know more about Domenech than we ever thought.
