Newly elected homophobic lawmaker auditions to be GOP’s newest class clown

Meet Victoria Spartz.

The new U.S. Rep from Indiana appears to be auditioning for a spot in the cast of Crazy GOP characters, alongside people like Lauren Boebert, Matt Gaetz, Marjorie Taylor Greene and Gym Jordan.

Yesterday, Spartz, who has a 100% rating with the anti-gay hate group Indiana Family Institute, gave an impassioned speech to reporters in which she complained about how politics work.

Since arriving in Washington, DC in January, the MP has found herself disillusioned with the political process and the difficulty in finding solutions for things like immigration reform.

Because this stuff should be too easy after all, right?

“As a rookie I’m very, very disappointed,” Spartz moaned. “I will do my part and I hope you do your part to put pressure on the other side to get to work.”

Spartz, who immigrated to the United States from Ukraine in 2000 but still supports Donald Trump’s border wall, also feigned outrage against President Nancy Pelosi for being “the one running the show.”

Running the show, of course, is the Speaker’s job.

She then added that Pelosi should “realize that President Biden is in charge right now, not President Trump.” So they have to start ruling this country, not playing politics.

We’re pretty sure Pelosi knows this, but thanks for the reminder, Vicky. Now maybe you could let your Republican buddies know who still insist Trump won the 2020 election?

Compared to some of her colleagues, Spartz gave a rather lackluster performance yesterday, but she is clearly trying to present herself as a spirited new congressman who isn’t afraid to own the libs and “tell it like it is.” “.

What is happening at our southern border right now is unacceptable and anti-American. @POTUS Biden must rule and @SpeakerPelosi must stop playing politics so that we can make real reforms to our legal immigration system and legal infrastructure. https://t.co/M3vcWztY3s

In February, she gave an equally angry speech on the House floor when she voted against the equality law, but her remarks did not attract as much attention as they probably should have. how shocking they were with transphobia.

Spartz ran over her allotted time as she denounced the wording of the Gender Identity Bill saying it could be “exploited by criminals or sexual predators” and could endanger prisons and women’s shelters, because that would “force them to share spaces traditionally reserved for women. with biological men even if a biological man accesses them fraudulently.

She also said the bill threatened the safety of female athletes because “men, biologically, are stronger than women” and because “biological men and biological women are materially different”.

She concluded her transphobic tirade by saying that, despite its name, the Equality Act was “a giant leap” in equal rights and a major threat to religious freedom.

In its current form, the so-called equality law, widely drafted, creates potential inequalities for women. Also, this is another bill that did not go through the proper process and was sent directly to the vote by @SpeakerPelosi. pic.twitter.com/28Ikph65Gt

Not surprisingly, Spartz also opposes adding sexual orientation to non-discrimination laws, believes anti-Gay Christian values should be used as a framework for any government, and thinks too many “groups” special interests ”(read: blacks) use the“ race card ”for political gain.

We have a feeling that we will be hearing a lot more from this woman in the near future.
