Rebecca Ferguson, not to be confused with thenamesake actress of Swedish origin, (Liverpool, 21 July 1986) is an English singer. Rebecca became famous thanks to her participation in the seventh season of the British talent show The X Factor, in which she finished second. A year later, her debut single Nothing’s Real But Love was released, followed two weeks later by the album Heaven, which peaked at number 3 on the UK chart. Rebecca is a single mother from Anfield, a borough of Liverpool who graduated from Hugh Baird College in Bootle as a legal assistant. Before being taken to the seventh edition, she had already auditioned with no results for other seasons of The X Factor and for the US talent show P. Diddy’s Starmaker in New York.
