Why were Rihanna and A $ AP Rocky denied entry to a club?
On Wednesday (June 23), the couple stepped out for a date in New York City with Ri-Ri donning a vintage Dior cocktail dress. Reportedly, the couple attempted to enter a Barcade store in Harlem.
A video of the couple waiting at the entrance to the club went viral after they were apparently denied entry at first. A bouncer is seen talking with the rapper and asking for ID, claiming he doesn’t know who they were and needed ID.
The bar patrons were photographing the moment one of them shouted at them “I don’t know who you are.” Another guest asked Rocky, “Don’t you have one of your business cards with you, boy?” “
The two then entered the facility and were filmed playing video games together.
Twitter user Kyle Price said the couple bought him pictures while cheering him on while playing the Ninja Turtle arcade game.
“@rihanna and I typed it up talking shit and A $ AP Rocky complimented me on my outfit. There’s officially nothing anyone can tell me about anything,” he said. he tweeted.
“They looked competitive and were laughing and having fun,” a spectator told E! New.
“She loved looking at him and always stood very close.”
The witness said the two were cuddly and “seemed happy and in love”.
“They never left each other all night and always stood and kissed,” they added. “She pulled him closer and didn’t want to let him go. He kept looking at her and smiling. They had a blast and showed each other a lot of affection on a fun night out.”
Rocky confirmed to GQ last month that they were in a relationship. He called her “the love of my life”.
