BIOGRAPHY OF SARA GILBERT

Actress. Daughter of Harold and Barbara Abeles, grandson of screenwriter Harry Crane and sister of Melissa and Jonathan Gilbert (born from the previous marriage of their mother Barbara to Paul Gilbert) famous interpreters of the TV series “The house on the prairie”. He studied art at Yale University, graduating in 1997 with honors. He began working in the entertainment world with some appearances in commercials. In 1984 she played the role of Calamity Jane as a child in the TV movie dedicated to the heroine of the Far West directed by James Goldston and from this moment she began to be credited as ‘Sara Gilbert’. In 1988 she joined the cast of the TV series “Pappa e Ciccia” where she remained permanently for nine years. She made her big screen debut in 1992 in Katt Shea’s “My Worst Friend”.
