The young actress was born n July 6, 1978n in Gelnhausen, West Germany. Her parents Darlene Renee Mowry and Timothy John Mowry are both US veterans ho served the US army. Her father was the custody officer/jailer in the City of Glendale Police Department.
She was born twins. Tamera was born at 4:30 pm which followed by her sister at 4:32 pm. She described her family as a close-knit as well as religious.
Along with her twin sister Tia, and two brothers Tahj Mowry and Tavior Mowry, they had a wonderful childhood together.
