Will Britney Spears give a concert again?
On Wednesday (August 18), “Toxic” singer’s boyfriend Sam Asghari was leaving a workout at Bass Rutten’s Elite MMA Gym in Los Angeles where TMZ stopped him to talk about his girlfriend.
When asked if Brit would be performing again, he replied “absolutely” before muttering “I hope”.
Asghari’s comments follow the resignation of his manager Larry Rudolph. He said he hadn’t spoken to Britney for two and a half years and at the time she told him she wanted to take “an indefinite break from work.” He added that Britney had recently “expressed her intention to officially retire”.
In court documents obtained by The New York Times, Britney claimed she was “forced [by her father] playing while she was ill with a 104 degree fever. She added that it was one of the scariest moments of her life.
On July 17, Britney posted a note on Instagram regarding the music and the performances.
“I’m not going to be performing on stage anytime soon with my dad who handles what I wear, say, do or think,” she told fans. “I have done this for the past 13 years.” Brit has also expressed his disinterest in remixing his songs. However, she did promise that she would continue to post videos of her performances and dancing in her living room, over which she has full control,
Now that Jamie Spears is reportedly stepping down from her role as financial curator, fans are wondering if she would ever consider starting a tour again.
