William “Will” Daniels was an astronaut and a former United States Air Force pilot. In 2001, he joined Project Distant Star Return and was sent by NASA from Earth to the planet Maveth using the Monolith, unaware that he was in fact being sent as a sacrifice by HYDRA to the Inhuman known as Hive.
