Think Rose! Britney Spears showed off a brand new hair color on Monday, May 17th and fans are loving the pinkish hue!
“No this is not a hair ad… this is my first time coloring all of my hair a bright color so damn it… I did as many hair flips as I could !!!! Pink is hot if I say so myself, ”the pop star captioned a photo carousel showing off her new rose gold color while gripping the camera in a fierce leopard-print body suit.
In her signature unfiltered caption, Brit also randomly called out a trio of celebrities, including Sarah Jessica Parker, Reese Witherspoon and Bella Thorne.
“Oh and not only did I copy @reesewitherspoon the other day with my comeback looks, but now I’m copying the @ sarahjessicaparker tease from Hocus Pocus !!!!” She wrote, referencing Parker’s role as Sarah Sanderson in the 1993 Disney Halloween classic. “Swipe up to see what I’m talking about !!!! “I wanted to wear lipstick after seeing this movie but my mom wouldn’t let me, so I did lip gloss instead !!!!” the pop star continued. “Sh– … I should have worn lipstick !!!! PS why do I feel like I’m @ bellathorne’s twin with pink hair?!?!?!”
Many fans took issue with the reference to Thorne in the comments, saying the loss of the name was proof that Spears wouldn’t have written the post herself.
“We all know Britney doesn’t know who Bella Thorne is,” wrote one skeptical fan, while another commented, “which drops the name … it’s not Britney.”
