BIOGRAPHY OF MICHELA CESCON
Actress. He graduated from the school for young actors of the “Teatro Stabile di Torino” directed by Luca Ronconi, then specialized in Moscow and Barcelona and attended the course of Bruce Myers. He begins to work in the theater with Ronconi but abandons the ancient master to go his own way in the theater of Dionysus in Turin. In 1994 the director Veronica Perugini wanted her for the role of Vania in ‘The hooligan’. This foray into the world of cinema remains an isolated case because the actress immediately returns to the theater collaborating on a permanent basis with Valter Malosti. In 2002, while playing ‘Bedbound’ she received a visit in the dressing room of Matteo Garrone, then an emerging director who wanted her for the role of Sonia in ‘First love’. To play that role, Michela knows she has to lose weight drastically during the shoot but accepts the challenge. The film was released in 2004 and was successful. Michela’s face becomes known to the public, Ferzan Ozpetek chooses her for ‘Sacred Heart’ and Marco Tullio Giordana for ‘When you are born you can no longer hide’. His career is now well underway.
