BIOGRAPHY OF CLAIRE DANES
Claire Catherine Danes was born in Manhattan, New York, on April 12, 1979. The youngest of the three children of Carla and Christopher Danes, both artists, has shown interest in acting since the age of 10, when she decides to attend a course at the institute by actor and stage director Lee Strasberg. Subsequently he enrolls in the Professional Performing Art School of New York and, already with an agency behind him, at 13 he appears in an episode of the hit series Law & Order. Immediately noticed, even before entering college, at Yale University, where she studied Psychology for two years before abandoning the courses and devoting herself to acting, in 1994 she obtained her first important role: Angela Chase in the ABC series My So-Called Life, for which wins the Golden Globe Best Actress in a Drama Series at the age of 16.
