BIOGRAPHY OF LENA DUNHAM
Lena Dunham was born in New York City on May 13, 1986. Daughter of painter Carroll Dunham and artist and photographer Laurie Simmons, she describes herself as “culturally very Jewish, although this is the most obvious thing a Jewish woman can say”. He first studied at Saint Ann’s School in Brooklyn, where he met his friend and frequent collaborator Jemima Kirke, while in 2008 he graduated from Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio, after studying creative writing.
Dunham’s multifaceted talent began to emerge in 2007 with the short film Dealing. Then create the web series Delusional Downtown Divas is Tight Shots.
