BIOGRAPHY OF ANDRÉ DUSSOLLIER
Actor. Promising conservatory student, he leaves everything for a small part in a Truffaut film, “Don’t fool the girl!” in 1972. Much appreciated by filmmakers and critics, he was discovered by the general public when he already has more than ten years of career behind him, in “Three men and a cradle” by Coline Serreau in 1985. He knows how to extend his register with mastery from romance to comedy, to drama, both on the big and small screen. He won the César award (the French Oscar) in 1993 as best supporting actor for the film “A heart in winter” (1992) by Claude Sautet, in 1998 as best actor for “Parole, parole parole” (1997) Alain Resnais and in 2002 again as a supporting character for “La chambre des officiers” (2001) by François Dupeyron, also boasting three other nominations for the same award.
