BIOGRAPHY OF EMMA MARRONE
Emmanuela Marrone, known as Emma and sometimes known as Emma Marrone (Florence, May 25, 1984), is an Italian singer-songwriter and television personality. After some experiences in the musical field with different bands, she rose to prominence as a solo singer between 2009 and 2010, winning the ninth edition of the talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi and signing a contract with the Universal Music record company. She then won the 2012 Sanremo Festival with the song Non è l’ferno and again at the Sanremo Festival in 2011, paired with Modà, she came second with the song Arriverà. To date, after the solo release of 1 EP, 3 studio albums and 13 singles, FIMI certifies its overall sales for more than 555,000 copies.[14][15] In addition to winning the 2012 Sanremo Festival, in the course of his career he has received several other awards, including a Venice Music Award and various Wind Music Awards for the sales of his records, awarded as platinum and multi-platinum discs. Since 2012 he starts playing the guitar in public[11][16]. In 2013 she was chosen as the artistic director of a team of the twelfth edition of Amici di Maria De Filippi.
