Gym, tan … engagement ring? Jersey Shore’s Ronnie Ortiz-Magro is reportedly engaged to his new girlfriend, Saffire Matos.
According to People, the couple have been dating since the fall and the reality TV star asked the question during a private picnic while surrounded by his family – including his three-year-old daughter Ariana, who ‘he shares with his ex Jenn Harley.
The big news comes at an interesting time for Ortiz-Magro, who was left out of the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 4B trailer due to his recent legal issues. (In April, the TV personality was arrested for domestic violence while still on probation following her 2019 arrest on similar domestic violence charges.)
While Ron-Ron and his new fiancee both filmed for the Poconos season, it’s unclear if they will be removed from the episodes.

1. She is from Long Island
To keep with the family! Like her longtime teammates Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Angelina Pivarnick, Ortiz-Margo’s fiancee is originally from the borough of Staten Island, New York.

3. She’s private – to a point – on her social media
Although his Instagram page is open to the public, Matos sets limits with social media. She currently has comments disabled on every post she uploads to her feed. So while she appreciates double clicks and likes, she’s not here for the court of public opinion that all too often ends up in the comments section of the app.
4. She stands next to her man
After his arrest, Matos used his Instagram story to defend Ortiz-Magro and their relationship. “Ronnie and I are fine,” she wrote in the since deleted post. “There is a lot of misleading information going around. With all of those who have reached out with concern, I appreciate it with all my heart, but not everything portrayed there is fact.
“I don’t think it’s fair for people to use false accusations to attract attention,” Matos added before asking, “Please leave Ron and me alone. You don’t know what that is. someone crosses over at the end of the day. ” Meanwhile, the newly hired beautician continues to post happy photos of her and Ronnie in her News Feed.
