BIOGRAPHY OF NORA EPHRON
Director and screenwriter. He studied at Wellesey College. Essayist and novelist, she has written subjects for many famous films. His sensitivity helped Rob Reiner in ‘When Harry Met Sally’ (1989) for which he earned an Oscar nomination for Best Screenplay. He made his directorial debut with ‘This is my life’ (1992), written with his sister Delia. He went on to co-write the romantic comedy ‘Sleepless in Seattle’ (1993). Nora is the daughter of the screenwriters, Henry and Phoebe Ephron, who used her childhood for the works ‘Three’s a Family’, ‘Take her’ and ‘She’s mine’. Married to the novelist Dan Greenberg, then to the journalist Carl Bernstein, she is now the wife of the reporter and screenwriter (‘Goodfellas’, 1990) Nicholas Pileggi.
