BIOGRAPHY OF LUKE EVANS
Luke Evans was born in Pontypool in Wales on April 15, 1979, the only child of Yvonne and David Evans. He spent his childhood and adolescence in Aberbargoed, a small town in South Wales until, at the age of 17, he decided to move to Cardiff where he began taking singing lessons under the direction of Louise Ryan. His true dream is to take part in a musical comedy, and so, from 1997 to 2000 he attended the London Studio Center in London. After graduation, he obtained his first writings in London theaters taking part in musical comedies such as Taboo is Rent. In 2008 finally manages to get noticed thanks to his interpretation in Small Change direct par Peter Gil and his role as Yves Montand in Piaf.
His film career began in 2010 with the film Tamara Drewe by Stephen Frears alongside Gemma Arterton. Always in 2010, we find him in the role of Apollo in Clash of the Titans by Louis Leterrier. The following year is Aramis neither The Three Musketeers by Paul WS Anderson e Zeus in Immortals by Tarsem Singh. In 2012 Peter Jackson calls him for the role of Bard The archer in the first chapter of The Hobbit, a role that will resume in the next two chapters The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug is The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. Also in 2012 he participated in an episode of another very successful saga, Fast and Furious 6, where he plays the role of Owen Shaw. In 2014 he is the young prince Vlad in Dracula Untold.
