BIOGRAPHY OF RICCARDO GARRONE
Actor. After the war he studied acting at the ‘Silvio D’Amico’ Academy of Dramatic Art and began to tread the stage with the Gassman-Torrieri-Zareschi company. The turning point comes with Dino Verde working at the Parioli Theater. He begins to cover increasingly important roles, so much so that the wave of success leads him to act at the prestigious Sistina Theater. Parallel to the thriving theatrical career, he also started the cinematographic one, establishing himself more and more as a leading character actor. He collaborates with important directors, such as: Dino Risi for “Venice, the moon and you” (1958), Federico Fellini for “La dolce vita” (1960), Damiano Damiani in “La repatriata” (1962), probably in his best interpretation , and Luigi Zampa in “Bello, honest, emigrated to Australia would marry fellow villager illibata” (1971). Actor very active in the seventies, later his appearances on the big screen begin to thin out. He appears most frequently in commercials and television series or ‘lends’ his beautiful and deep voice to numerous foreign actors. For the small screen, in fact, how can we forget the famous Lavazza commercial in which he plays the now well-known ‘San Pietro’ who always accompanies famous comic actors, such as Tullio Solenghi, Paolo Bonolis and Luca Laurenti and Enrico Brignano. He is a big fan of SS Lazio.
