Former Ohio Treasurer / Republican Clown Josh Mandel gets a hard lesson on why you should never mix business with pleasure.
The Jewish Republican who accepts campaign donations from the Nazis lost three of his top fundraisers who were working on his doomed campaign in the US Senate amid reports that he and his campaign finance director / girlfriend Rachel Wilson, have created a “toxic work environment”.
According to USA Today, Wilson is particularly bad. She has gained a reputation for treating her subordinates like crap, “insulting” them in the office, asking them to work 12 hours a day, berating them in front of others, insulting them and even making them cry.
“Working with Rachel, she really created a traumatic and hostile work environment,” said a source close to the campaign.
Other sources also say that employees spoke to Mandel and his campaign manager, Scott Guthrie, about Wilson’s abusive behavior, but nothing was ever done about it, which ultimately prompted fundraisers Falicia Mandel, Abby Burke and Rachel Tilson to seek employment elsewhere.
In fact, Tilson and Burke quit the same day.
Text messages obtained by USA Today show members of the Mandel campaign staff talking about the issue and expressing frustration at how neither Mandel nor Guthrie seemed to care.
Sources also claim that Mandel and Wilson, who have been dating since last August, frequently engage in “explosive arguments” full of expletives within earshot of all office staff.
“They were coming out into the hallway and yelling at each other,” said another source.
Of course, we already knew Mandel was an asshole. In addition to wanting to re-establish the “Don’t ask, don’t tell” policy, despite two homosexual cousins, one of whom served in the army, he regularly goes to Twitter to spit Islamophobic garbage …

And as for Wilson, this isn’t the first time she’s been accused of being horrible, either.
In 2017, she was filmed assaulting a campaign tracker when she pushed her camera as he followed Mandel, who was running against Democratic U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown at the time, during the election campaign.
Juan Nino, an Ohio Democratic Party tracker, approached Mandel to ask about his SuperPAC affiliation pushing the “Pizzagate” conspiracy theory when Wilson jumped in and pushed the camera away.
Ohio Democratic Party spokesman Jake Strassberger called it “completely inappropriate for candidates or staff to physically get on with anyone.”
When asked to comment, the Mandel campaign said it would not talk about the staff departures or the allegations against Wilson.
“They are both single adults and do their best to keep their privacy private,” Guthrie said, adding that he wished the three fundraisers who quit “the best.”
