Actress. He made his debut at the age of eight at the Helena Rubistein Children’s Theater in New York. In the mid-1970s he left school and began singing in the choirs of Broadway musicals. After a difficult time fighting drug problems, in 1973 she married Alvin Martin, the social worker who helps her with her recovery.
