Britney Spears wants to accuse her father of “abuse of conservation”

Britney Spears plans to file formal charges against her father Jamie Spears for “conservation abuse”.

On Wednesday (July 14), another legal hearing was held to discuss the new updates to his guardianship. Los Angeles judge Brenda Penny has allowed Britney to hire her own lawyer.

She chose famous lawyer Mathew Rosengart, who was present for the virtual hearing. The lawyer spoke briefly and asked why Jamie is still in guardianship when it is clearly not in Britney’s best interest.

During the hearing, Britney gave further testimony about her father and how he mismanaged his guardianship. She revealed that she was planning to accuse him of abuse of guardianship.

“I would like to accuse my father of abuse of guardianship,” Britney said in tears according to CNN. “I want to sue my dad today,” Spears said. “I want an investigation on my father.”

Britney later added that she believed the Guardianship Team “was trying to kill me”. She continued, “If it’s not abuse, I don’t know what it is” until she called the guardianship “fucking cruelty.”

Britney told the judge she did not want to be assessed in order to dismiss her father as financial co-custodian because she has “serious abandonment issues”.

After Britney’s minor victory, she shared an update with fans on her Instagram account where she shared a video of her doing a set of wheels and riding.

“Come on, folks… come on,” she wrote alongside a middle finger emoji. “New with real performance today … I feel GRATITUDE and BLESSED !!!! Thanks to my fans for supporting me … You have no idea what it means for me to be supported by such awesome fans !!!! bless you all !!!!! Pssss it’s me celebrating by horseback riding and cartwheels today !!!! ️‍♀️ !!!!! “
