BIOGRAPHY OF BERNARD GIRAUDEAU
Actor and director. At fifteen he enlisted in the French Navy but after a few years he took his leave and practiced various trades to make ends meet. In 1973 he appeared for the first time both on television in some television series and in the cinema with the film “Two against the city” by José Giovanni. Appreciated performer of comedies, he has also given excellent acting tests with drama, adventure or costume films. Among his most successful characters we find the Molière in “Marquise” (1997) by Vera Belmont and the court priest Vilecourte in “Ridicule” (1996) by Patrice Leconte. In 1990 he made his debut behind the camera with “Autre – L’altra” starring Francisco Rabal, followed by “L’été glacé” (1992, a film for TV), and “Profumo d’Africa” (1995) . He is married to actress Anny Duperey with whom he has two children, Gaël and Sarah.
