BIOGRAPHY OF BRYAN CRANSTON
Bryan Lee Cranston was born in Canoga Park, a district a few tens of kilometers from Los Angeles, on March 7, 1956. Younger son of actor and amateur boxer Joe Cranston and radio actress Audrey Peggy Sell, Cranston is famous in Hollywood and around the world for his acting career, mainly on television, but his work as film director, producer and voice actor.
After university studies, Cranston begins to work acting in small local and regional plays. Although he had shown a certain predilection towards the acting profession from an early age, it is with these roles that he officially takes his first steps in the world of entertainment, after being “hindered” in previous years by the conflicting feelings of his parents on the possibility of undertaking a career similar to theirs.
The first roles on TV come in the early 1980s. For over twenty years, mostly small parts in series have kept him busy CHiPs, Hill Street day and night, Baywatch, Matlock, Walker, Texas Ranger, Murder, she wrote, X-Files and many others. With the role in breaking Bad Cranston’s career becomes a downhill road. Now coveted also by the big names in cinema, he stars in The Lincoln Lawyer, Drive, Love suddenly and in 2012 in the Oscar-winning film Argon. The CBS comedy How I Met Your Mother entrusts him with the role of the petulant boss of the protagonist in three episodes; gives voice to characters from animated films Madagascar 3: Most Wanted in Europe is Kung Fu Panda 3 (2015); and directs some episodes of the series Modern Family, The Office and of the same breaking Bad. However, this is not his first experience behind the camera, having already directed several times Malcolm.
