Caitlyn Jenner learns the hard way that maybe campaigning for governor of California from a hotel room 8,100 miles away wasn’t such a good idea after all.
The 71-year-old is currently in Australia to complete a two-week quarantine before an appearance on Big Brother VIP, for which she was reportedly awarded $ 500,000.
Meanwhile, back in the United States, her already dismal poll numbers have fallen further as she continues to receive backlash over her decision to leave the Northern Hemisphere to shoot a reality show for less than two months. before the elections.
In an effort to save face, Jenner, who currently only votes 3%, down from 6% a few months ago, is now trying to pass it off as proof of her tireless work ethic.
“Unlike most politicians, I honor my contracts,” she told Fox News over the weekend. “I’ve had this in the books, this show I’ve been doing here in Australia, for months and months.”
She added that she “has more [campaign] work done here only at home because i have no distractions ”and“ everyone in california keeps working ”too.
“It’s actually very good,” she said. “Since this pandemic, we’ve learned that you can work remotely and do a lot of things. “
Yesterday Jenner tweeted that at 50 election days there was “not a day to lose!”

It’s unclear exactly when Jenner will return to the United States, but she has promised it will be “at least a week” before the postal vote begins.
She is also planning to launch a bus tour that will begin in Venice Beach, the Los Angeles neighborhood she recently ransacked for having too many homeless people who are ruining everyone’s “quality of life”.
“We have to provide a place for these people to go, whether it’s an open field to a location or if you notice it in the veterans facility,” Jenner said. “There are these big open fields and a lot of places there.”
