California lawmaker’s Grindr profile sent to his 17,000 Twitter followers

California Democratic State Assembly member Evan Low has officially joined Grindr.

We know because the congregation member told us so. Well, not us in particular, but he posted a screenshot of his profile for his 17,000 followers on Twitter.

Low’s part was intentional – no scandal here. He campaigned on behalf of California Gov. Gavin Newsom as the state quickly approaches the September 14 recall election.

“Hello beauty!” Low wrote in his profile. “I am here to urge you to VOTE NO to the Republican recall! “

“Governor Gavin Newsom has always championed equality and our LGBTQ community. Now let’s all be there for him, ”he continued.

“I joined @Grindr! Let’s talk about the “NO” vote on the Republican recall! California deserves better, ”he added on Twitter.

The profile photo is of Low smiling alongside Newsom. Power torque alert.

There are more than 40 candidates, including a majority of Republicans, who seek to overthrow Newsom. Caitlyn Jenner is one of them, even though she has no chance of winning.

However, frontman Larry Elder does. The Tory radio host’s positions are about as opposed to Newsom’s as they could be. Elder, who is black, says systemic racism is not real. He opposes the right to abortion, mask warrants and the minimum wage. He’s a big supporter of Donald Trump.

Newsom shows a lead in polls among likely voters, but voter turnout remains an urgent issue. So far, Republicans have overtaken Democrats in postal voting, and the GOP historically attracts more voters in person than Democrats.

If you live in California, VOTE.

If you have friends or family in California, make sure they VOTE.
