BIOGRAPHY OF CHRIS CORNELL
Chris Cornell, stage name of Christopher John Boyle (Seattle, July 20, 1964), is an American singer and musician. His career began in Soundgarden, formed in 1984 and disbanded in 1997 (then reunited in 2010); his name is also linked to the grunge group Temple of the Dog. From 2001 to 2007 he formed, together with some former members of Rage Against the Machine, the group Audioslave, of which he was the lead singer.
