COURTENEY COX BIOGRAPHY
Actress. After high school she moved to New York, began working as a model for the Ford agency, soon becoming the protagonist of many commercials. In 1984 his face went around the world thanks to the participation in the video “Dancing in the Dark” by Bruce Springsteen. In fact, she is the girl that the Boss invites to dance on stage. Numerous appearances on TV followed, including the role of Lauren Miller, girlfriend of Alex Keaton / Michael J. Fox, in the last episodes of the series “Keaton House” (1982/1989). In 1987 he also appeared on the big screen for the first time in Gary Goddard’s “Dominators of the Universe”. From this moment on, numerous participations in both television and film productions follow, but success only arrives in the mid-90s thanks to the role of Monica Geller in the TV series “Friends”. She was romantically linked for several years to actor Michael Keaton and then to Adam Duritz, lead singer of the American band Counting Crows, before meeting actor David Arquette. The two married in June 1999. After the wedding, the actress decided to add her husband’s surname to her own, thus calling herself Courteney Cox Arquette. Among his relatives is Stewart Copeland, drummer of the Police musical group.
