BIOGRAPHY OF DAVIDE FERRARIO

Director, screenwriter and writer. He graduated from the University of Milan in American literature and already during his studies began to deal with cinema as a critic and essayist. At the same time he started the activity of distributor for the cooperative ‘Laboratorio 80’ of Bergamo which makes the works of Fassbinder, Wenders, Wajda and other valuable directors tour Italy. He also tries his hand as an agent for some American directors such as Jim Jarmusch and John Sayles. In 1985 he wrote the screenplay for Attilio Concari’s “45th parallel” (1985) while his directorial debut film is “La fine della notte” which came out in 1990 and is considered the “best independent film of the season”.
