Dua Lipa responds to fans who laughed at her dance

Internet trolls are always quick to insult, but why don’t they try to perform on a huge stage in front of thousands of people?

Over the past few years, clips of Dua Lipa dancing and performing have been circulating on social media, where they have been mercilessly remembered and turned into GIFs, with many fans and foes mocking the pop star’s moves.

Luckily, Lipa took it all into account knowing that what doesn’t kill you on social media only makes you stronger on stage.

In a recent Instagram story, the pop star addressed the many not-so-nice comments and memes about her abilities on the dance floor, revealing that she was able to overcome bullying to see the silver lining – and improve in the process.

The “Levitating” singer began by thanking her most loyal fans for their support over the past four years. (Lipa released her self-titled debut album four years ago on June 2, 2017.)

“I’m so grateful for all the amazing opportunities; all the amazing people I’ve met; all the amazing lessons I’ve learned; spinning for about three years,” Lipa said, per BuzzFeed.

She then explained that being bullied for her dancing only made her want to dance more.

“Being bullied online… made me want to dance and really improve myself,” she said. “So thank you very much – for all the good and bad things, for helping me grow. I’m always grateful.”

So if you ever think of posting a sarcastic comment about Dua Lipa’s dancing skills online, don’t start now… because she’s already done with it.
