BIOGRAPHY OF FRANCESCO BRUNI
Director and screenwriter. He began his career in 1996, with the film “Condominio” (1991) by Felice Farina. Known above all for his association with Paolo Virzì for whom, together with Furio Scarpelli and Francesco Piccolo, he wrote numerous screenplays: “La bella vita” (1994), “Ferie d’agosto” (1996), “Ovosodo” (1997), ” Kisses and hugs “(1999),” My Name is Tanino “(2001),” Catherine goes to town “(2003),” Napoleon and I “(2006),” All life ahead “(2008) and” La first beautiful thing “(2010). He was also awarded multiple awards in 2012 with the David di Donatello and the Nastro d’Argento as best new director. In the same year he was president of the jury in the “Prospettive Italia” section of the seventh edition of the Rome International Film Festival.
