BIOGRAPHY OF GIOVANNA DI RAUSO
Actress. He begins very early to tread the scenes of the Italian theater; discovered by Giorgio Strehler, she made her debut in the role of the Magdalene in “The giants of the mountain”. He later graduated from the prestigious European Theater School of the Piccolo Teatro in Milan, directed by Strehler himself. He wins the Hystrio Prize for Young Talents in 1999, then continuing his studies and winning a scholarship with Adriana Borriello; she also graduated as an interdisciplinary theater / dance dancer. He studies again with Luca Ronconi at the S. Cristina Theater Center and at the Ecole des Maitres directed by Franco Quadri. Over the years, he has covered leading roles in the Italian theater scene, from Peter Pan to Juliet, Ofelia, Veroccia, working with directors such as Iancu, Scaparro, Castri, Gas. He is the protagonist in Lisa Romano’s first work “If you close your eyes” (2008). She plays Lady Macbeth in “Macbeth” directed by Gabriele Lavia (2009). In 2010 she co-starred in the second season of the television series “Romanzo Criminale” in the role of Donatella. Also in 2010 she won the Golden Graal for the interpretation of Lady Macbeth and a Golden Graal as Rising Star for “Romanzo Criminale”.
