BIOGRAPHY OF HALLE BERRY
Maria Halle Berry was born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 14, 1966. Before pursuing her acting career, Halle Barry participated in various beauty pageants, including Miss Teen All American, Miss Ohio USA, Miss USA and Miss World. The debut comes in the television series Chicago Force, later participates in the TV adaptation Queen: The Story of an American Family and in the television series Living Dolls. In 1991, he made his debut in the cinema with Jungle Fever, directed by the American director Spike Lee, in the same year, he acted in the comedy Strctly Business of Kevin Hooks and in the film by Tony Scott, The last boy scout, in the role of a stripper. In 1994, he took part in the cast of the comedy The Flintstones of Brian Levant, which, while not enthusing critics, turns out to be a good box office success. In 2000 he is the interpreter of one of his most famous roles, that of Storm in the saga inspired by the comic series published by Marvel Comics, X-Men directed by Bryan Singer. Barry is the protagonist of three other chapters of the saga: X-Men 2 of Bryan Singer in 2003, X-Men: Final Conflict of Brett Ratner in 2006 and X-Men – Days of a future past in 2014, again directed by Bryan Singer. In 2001, he starred alongside John Travolta is Hugh Jackman, in the action movie Codex: Swordfish and in the drama of Marc Forster, Monster’s Ball – The shadow of life. For this role, Halle Berry was awarded the 2002 Oscars for Best Actress in a Leading Role. Two years later she is the protagonist of the thriller directed by Mathieu Kassovitz, Gothika, and in the famous role of the cat woman in Catwoman, of Pitof. In 2011 he participated in the super cast of the sentimental comedy of Garry Marshall, in New Year’s Eve in New York and the following year in the science fiction film based on the novel The atlas of the clouds, Cloud Atlas, of Andy is Lana Wachowski is Tom Tykwer.
