Jesse McCartney had an epic crash at a recent gig and the whole ordeal was filmed.
Earlier this week, a fan posted a video of the “Beautiful Soul” singer in concert. He was walking off the stage when he tripped and fell, apparently twisting his ankle. The social media user wrote: “Pray for Jesse McCartney”. The clip has received over 5 million views and over 300,000 favorites. McCartney has recently been on tour to attend festivals and outdoor events now that live music is back.
McCartney addressed the video in his own TikTok.
“Okay, I’m glad everyone had a really good laugh. By the way, my ankle is fine. Thanks for asking, “he said in a clip.
“I’ve read some of them,” he continued, sharing a screenshot of the comments section that featured some hilarious responses.
“It wasn’t a smooth ride at all,” wrote one follower, to which he replied, “Yeah, no, shit.”
“TikTok knows exactly how to make me laugh,” he added. “This is the kind of thing I love TikTok for because you can read the comments section, but when it’s you in the video it’s different.”
Another fan asked why he was sweating profusely. McCartney said it was performing in an outdoor location and it was 95 degrees.
“Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the internet, I’m fine,” he assured, before revealing that he had actually sprained his ankle and that she was still bruised but was “perfect”.
McCartney was also favorite and responded to more responses to the video like “he’s a runner, he’s a track star.”
