BIOGRAPHY OF JONATHAN FRAKES

Actor and director. He has as a “distinctive mark” that of having mainly worked for science fiction films. He studied at Penn State University (where he played the trombone) and graduated from Harvard. He began his acting career in 1963, playing small parts in TV series. In 1987 he landed on the television series of “Star Trek” and from this to the last film episodes of the saga. As a director he made his debut directing the episodes of the TV series “Star Trek, The Next Generation” (1987). In cinema he made his debut with “Star Trek, First Contact” (1996) followed by the 1998 episode entitled “Insurrection”. Since 1988 he has been married to actress Genie Francis with whom he had children Jameson Ivor, born in 1994 , and Elizabeth Francis, born in 1997
