In May, Greenberg pleaded guilty to crimes such as child sex trafficking, identity theft, wire fraud and conspiracy. As part of his plea deal, he agreed to provide “substantial assistance” to federal authorities in their case against Gaetz in exchange for dropping some of the charges against him.
Greenberg’s sentencing was originally set for August 19, but his lawyer asked the judge this week if he could push the date back so he can continue working with investigators, who are said to have almost finished gathering all the evidence they have. need against the anti-gay congressman. .
